Helen Williams is the CEO of HMW Sports, LLC. Helen helps coaches advance their careers by providing leadership and management tools that allow them to be more mindful, planful, and strategic with their professional development.
Helen is the author of “Coach Like A Mother, A Guide For The 21st Century Sports Coach”. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from Wake Forest University where she was a student-athlete and a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She has been involved with intercollegiate athletics as a coach or an administration for over three decades and held positions at Divisions I, II, and III institutions including Lenoir-Rhyne University, Wake Forest University, University of South Florida, Western Michigan University, US Naval Academy, Princeton University, Merrimack College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard University.
Helen works as a color analyst for college basketball and hosts her weekly show “A Coach For The Coach; Connecting The Dots…” where she provides opportunities for coaches to learn, grow, and develop in the coaching profession.

Drew Rutherford got his career start in 2008 as a graduate assistant sports information director, at the University of Tennessee. He worked with the Tennessee basketball program for four years and continues to serve on the scorer’s table for both Vols and Lady Vols basketball games.
In 2012, Drew launched Tailgate Tennessee, a premium pregame hospitality service for the University of Tennessee football fans. The following year, he became an adjunct faculty member of the University of Tennessee Sport Management program. His desire to help people reach their professional goals took root as he led their course on professional development and career advancement.
Drew currently is a Senior Advisor for Transworld Business Advisors of Knoxville, TN, which is the world leader in the marketing and sales of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, and franchises. Drew serves on the Board of Directors for Random Acts of Flowers and has also been involved with mentoring by volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Winning Edge Leadership Academy. Drew was recently named one of Knoxville’s ’40 Under 40′ honorees for his service to the community.
