About the Role

Our client is an established food production company in the Columbus, OH area seeking an experienced Processing Manager to oversee multi-site production operations. This role manages daily processing activities, leads production teams, maintains food safety programs, and ensures operational efficiency. This is a confidential search conducted by Renaissance Search and Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily processing operations across multiple production sites
• Supervise and develop production, quality, and operations staff
• Oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
• Serve as SQF Practitioner and maintain HACCP compliance and food safety programs
• Ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements
• Lead internal and external audits and coordinate with regulatory inspectors
• Manage budgets, control costs, and identify process improvements
• Create staff schedules and handle employment matters
• Ensure product quality and coordinate with sales teams to meet customer commitments

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years in food processing, food manufacturing, or related operations management
• Proven supervisory or managerial experience leading teams in production environments
• Experience in regulated food manufacturing facilities
• Background in high-volume production operations

Certifications:

• SQF Practitioner and HACCP certifications preferred (company will support certification for qualified candidates)

Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced environments
• Problem-solving mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
