Job Summary
As the CFO at MIT45, you will lead our finance and accounting operations while playing
a critical role in the company’s overall strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, Ryan
Niddel, you will help drive company-wide success by setting new standards of financial

Qualifications
 A minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including
at least 3 years as CFO of a company with $100M+ in revenue.
 Proven track record in leading companies through periods of rapid growth.
 Expertise in securing financing (both equity and debt) and developing strategic
banking relationships.
 Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
sector.
 Extensive experience managing mergers and acquisitions in high-growth
environments.

 Strong financial leadership in both B2B and B2C settings. E-commerce financial
experience is required, with a preference for experience in higher-risk industries.
 Familiarity with SOC I, SOC II, and SOX compliance regulations preferred.
 Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
– Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
– Provide strategic guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
– Collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth and operational
efficiency.

Financial Management
– Oversee all financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports and
compliance with regulatory standards.
– Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to support the company’s
growth initiatives.

Investment & Fundraising
– Lead efforts to secure funding through equity and debt financing.
– Evaluate investment opportunities to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Risk Management & Compliance
– Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
– Enhance internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain financial integrity.

Financial Reporting & Analysis
– Deliver financial reports and analyses to the board, investors, and stakeholders.
– Monitor key performance indicators to drive improvement and identify opportunities for
growth.

Strategic Planning & Execution
– Support long-term strategic planning efforts and ensure financial alignment with
business goals.
– Lead mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
– Evaluate and implement financial technologies to improve operational efficiency.
