Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, hands-on Senior Director of Social Media to lead
across HOORAE’s divisions: HOORAE Media for Film, TV and Digital; Raedio, the audio
everywhere company; and ColorCreative, its management division. This role is an exciting
opportunity to lead and shape the digital presence of a culturally-relevant, mission-driven, and
fast-growing company. This position reports to the Head of Marketing and will be an invaluable
contributor to HOORAE’s growth.
This role will include leading all social media efforts from planning through implementation,
developing social media strategies for our brands and company-wide initiatives, and delivering
creative and highly engaging social content.
● Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute social media strategies for platforms such
as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels. Create engaging campaigns
that reach and resonate with our target audience.
● Campaign Management: Collaborate within the Marketing department to plan, execute,
and optimize creative social media and digital marketing campaigns. Manage content
calendars, publishing schedules, paid digital and social ads, reporting, and optimization
across our social channels.
● Stay Informed: Keep abreast of media trends, entertainment industry developments,
social trends, and relevant cultural moments to drive our social media goals efficiently.
● Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure
the success of social media campaigns. Use analytics to adapt strategies and tactics
based on insights.
● Lead: Manage a small internal team, agency support, and external content creation and
editing resources to execute business goals.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various department teams, both
internal and external, to ensure timely project delivery, alignment, and approval
processes.
● Content Creation: Devise compelling copy and captions for social posts that align with
our brand voice. Collaborate with creative teams to optimize content for social media,
including content ideas, shot lists, and real-time storytelling.
● Community Engagement: Engage with our community across social platforms,
identifying important insights and addressing issues as needed.

● Integration: Integrate and amplify communications across various brand and marketing
initiatives, including press releases, events, promotions, and milestones.
Qualifications:
● Professional Experience: 8+ years in social media management or similar roles,
preferably in a media or entertainment company.
● Leadership Skills: 3-5+ years of direct management experience, with a proven track
record of development and mentorship.
● Audience Growth: Demonstrated success in growing and managing multiple social
media channels with 300K+ followers.
● Platform Expertise: Proficiency in leading and emerging social media networks, with
knowledge of platform-specific tools, features, formats, standards, and best practices.
● Paid Media: Hands-on experience in managing paid media, CRM solutions, and email
marketing.
● Data and Insights: Strong understanding of data and insights to design and implement
effective campaigns, monitor campaign performance, and inform creative and strategy
development.
● Creativity: Ability to come up with creative solutions, experiment, set trends, and execute
innovative concepts quickly.
● Organization: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage
multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication.
● Tools: Proficiency with creator tools like Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva, as well as
social media monitoring and posting tools.
● Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000 DOE
